Applied Zoopharmacognosy

Zoopharmacognosy (zoofar-ma-cog-nosy) is a behavior in which non-human animals apparently self-medicate by selecting and ingesting or topically applying plants, soils, insects,  to prevent or reduce the harmful effects of pathogens and toxins. The term derives from Greek roots zoo ("animal"), pharmacon ("drug, medicine"), and gnosy ("knowing").

Applied Zoopharmacognosy: enables self-medicative behavior in domesticated/captive animals by offering plant extracts or dried, chopped plants/herbs that would contain the same or similar constituents to those found in an animal's evolutionary history. 

 

Herb Testing is a great way for your horses to speak to you in a way that you can understand. Whether it be for nutritional issues, pain, allergies, immune system, hormones and more. Once a horse is tested, the choices are evaluated by me, The Natural equine, by looking at the action and  energetic properties of each herb, we can individualize the diet to fit the horse's needs.

*This is not a cure all but has proven to help heal horses on many levels.

$50.00. This includes the testing and evaluation. The test itself can take 1-2 hours depending on the horse then about 24 - 48 hours to go over results and create a 2 month custom blend.
