Between environmental toxins, processed feeds and chemicals in medications, the body can become very bogged down and show symtoms. Many times, what we see on the outside is an immune response; allergies, bad skin, coughing, etc. But there are somethings that can also be affected by the body having toxins and that is how the body is properly functioning internally. Sometimes, the liver, kidneys and even the lymphatic system can get bogged down and deplete the immune system. When that happen, the body has to work extra hard.

Horses like people should detox at least twice a year depnding on their life style or health issues. This lovely blend is a simple, yet effective way to detox the body while rebuilding the immune system. This blend is also reccomended prior to transitioning horses to The Natural Equine Forage based/whole food herb diet.

These blends are best use with a forage base pellet or a soy freen, non-gmo grain. This blends can be combines with other blends, but sometimes a custom blend is more ideal as to not have redundancy. Contact us or book a consultation for more details.

Bentonite Clay: a great detoxing herb that will help expel heavy metals while adding many minerals to help boost the immune system. It also helps relieve digestive issues. High in iron and magnesium.

The herbs below are all cut/sifted

Olive Leaf: has been found to stimulate phagocytosis, an immune system response in which cells ingest harmful microorganisms and foreign matter. Its active compound oleuropein is thought to contain antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Flavonoids, oleuropein, and flavone luteolin-7-glucoside—that have attracted interest and which show promise in possible antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and neuroprotective properties.

Oregon Grape Root: can assist the body’s detoxification process by helping to clear heat from the body. High in vitamin C

Dandelion Leaf:  the diuretic and detoxing nature of dandelion helps to regulate the hormones facilitating removal of toxins through sweat, bile and urine. High in vitamins A, C, E and K. Trace amounts of B vitamins, calcium, potassium, iron, folate and magnesium.

Echinachea Purpurea: known for its immune boosting powder, this herb can help shorten the duration of the common cold/flu and reduce symptoms from a sore throat, couch and even fever. High in vitamins A, B3, B12, B-complex, C and E and minerals zinc, calcium, sodium, selenium, magnesium and phosphorus. However, it is never to be used more than 2 weeks due because it will reverse it's own process of building the immune system.

Milk Thistle: this healing herb helps strengthen the immune response and as a detoxing herb, it protects the liver from toxins that can come from certain drugs. High in calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, potassium, chloride, phosphorus and amino acids.

Nettle: Cleanses the body, blood and flushes out toxins. High in silica and vitamins A, B, C, K, potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium.

Rosehips: the antioxidant properties in this herb helps balance antioxidant deficiencies and production of free radicals in the body and also parasitic issues. Very high in vitamins B, C & E, rich in beta-carotene, potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron.

    This is amazing!

When I got my horse Andy, he was allergic to just about everything....any type of topical ointment or spray would make him break out in hives. Even an herbal fly spray was too much for him. So I fed him this for the recommended time and this spring he can use the herbal fly spray! No hives! It's almost like its a miracle!
